FAQ's and General Info

Okay people, we’re finally getting around to answer the most popular question:

What should we wear?  And the answer is: think casual, think weather.

If this helps in your decision making:

Josh and Jonathan are wearing jeans or khakis, short sleeve button down shirts, and sneakers on Saturday night.

Karen will be wearing a cocktail dress (because she plans on drinking many cocktails) and Glen is considering wearing a new pair of underwear in your honor.

Saturday daytime:

We want our guests to be comfortable and happy, so we are not going to ask you to change clothing for each event.  The religious service will be first, at 10:30 am, followed by a BBQ lunch and camp activities.  Please feel free to wear clothing in which you will be able to run, play, and do art projects.  (Keep in mind that there is a religious service, so please dress appropriately.  Shorts are fine, tank tops are not.)

Remember that the end of May can be cool or hot, rainy or dry.  Gee, that helps you a lot!  You may want to become religious and pray for a dry weekend, unless you are interested in mud slide races of the nonalcoholic kind.  So, bring warm and cool weather clothes and raingear.

 Saturday Night:

We are having a full evening party complete with cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing with a DJ.  Once again, come as you are.  If you are the type of person who enjoys wearing a cocktail dress or suit, then by all means, please do.  (Gentlemen, there are impressionable children around, so if you enjoy dressing up in cocktail dresses, please don’t.)  If however, you are the type of person who loathes suits and high heels, then dress casually in whatever floats your boat.  Remember, we are at camp.

Sunday Brunch:

Wake up, take aspirin, brush teeth, remember to put on clothes.
