  Just Kidding!

Attention Die Hards:

Mazel Tov!  We are very proud of you.  You are the risk takers.   We will raise our glasses to you in a toast of wild cheer.  However, we know many of you are still a bit squeamish about the prospect of staying overnight in camp bunks (cabins).  French Woods is not the Hilton, but it's not a tent city either.  Bunks are wooden and are filled with single and bunk beds.  There are some single bunks and some larger double bunks.  There are bathrooms with showers and electric outlets in all of them.  They are not heated or air conditioned.  Although we will be providing linens,  it does get cold at night, so you may want to bring extra blankets. You may also want to share a bunk with another family you know so you won't feel uncomfortable sharing bathrooms with strangers.  And you know us - we have many strange guests.  Don't laugh, we're talking about YOU!  So although you may be hesitant, stay on campgrounds anyway; it'll be more fun and you'll be right in the thick of things.

Attention Troopers:

We still love you, even if you have chosen not to be Die Hards.  We are thrilled that you're coming and we promise not to make fun of you for wimping out and staying at a motel...(NOT!)  We have secured rooms at the two local motels in Hancock.  The Colonial is already booked, but there are several rooms still available at the Capra Inn.  If you are interested in making a reservation, please call Jackie at the Capra at  607.637.1600 or check out any of the accommodations listed below.
The French Woods Country Club is located directly across the street from the camp, but to our knowledge, they are booking 3 night minimums only for the holiday weekend.

A crisper copy will be posted soon.
